New Booth Space

Hi Everyone!

Hope your week is going good. It has been a crazy, busy and looooonnnnng week at work. A really nice hot bubble bath sounds like Heaven at the moment. (sigh)

I thought I would share my new booth space with you today.  I have moved my inventory out of The Mix in Ada and have moved into Creative Country in Tishomingo.  I LOVE it there!  There really is something there for everyone.  Not only all the great items available to purchase, everyone is so friendly and nice.

I have a small spot and things are going wonderful there, so I have been kicking around the idea of expanding my booth space and at the same time thinking of keeping it small and cozy.  Frankie and I went in on Saturday and he helped me measure.  My wonderful Mr. Prince Charming is thinking of building me some awesome display stuff.  So I need to make up my mind, so we can get started!!!

Been dreaming all day long of some new fun things I am wanting to make and add to my space.   So I am off to get Crack-a-lackin

Vintage Baby Wreath

Hi Everyone!  Hope that you have enjoyed your weekend.  I know that mine went by way too fast!!! I didn't do much crafting this weekend.  I made this wreath as a custom order for a friend.  I hope that she will like it.  I have loaded it down with baby pink and off white tulle.  Made 3 rolled roses out of ribbon and added a crown for the little princess.  I then added a vintage baby shoe and silver rattle.  I love the vintage silver baby rattle!!!  It is so sweet, has a little dent in it too add that extra vintage charm and the sweetest little tinkle when it is rattled.

Linking up with Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound.  Drop by and visit and be inspired by all the beautiful pink links.  Love everything PINK!!!

Stay Charmed,

Favorite Displays

Hi Everyone!

Hope that you are all doing well?  We have been hit with the flu bug here in the Prince household, both myself and Mr. Prince Charming.   It certainly has not been fun!  Finally starting to feel like a human again, I realized today that I have not left my house since coming home from work sick on Thursday.

I was so thankful that today was a holiday and I got the day off from work.  Feeling much better, I have spent most of the day playing in my craft room.   I will have some new handmade inventory to share with you soon.  I am have made the decision not to renew my vendor contract at The Mix in Ada, OK and will begin moving out of my space there this week.  I am, however, looking forward to concentrating more on my booth space at Creative Country in Tishomingo.  I will once again be offering some of my Vintage inspired Baby Onesies and other children accessories that has previously only been available either at craft shows or on my Etsy site.

I have been rearranging and redecorating (or should say in the progress of) since taking down all of the Christmas decorations.  A few months ago I bought new furniture and painted.  I am loving my new furniture and fresh clean painted walls.  I didn't want to put up my old wall hangings that have been up forever so I have been slowing taking away and adding new.

I really love things that are old or have a vintage feel.  I have been trying to  incorporate as many family heirlooms as possible in my new decor.    I ended up with two empty spaces in the living room.  In one corner I put a vignette of the doll carriage that I found while out scouting for treasures.  It is still one of my favorite finds.  I put my favorite picture of my Great Grandmother in it along with a pair of vintage baby shoes, old wrap with flowing fringe and some pink spring flowers.

The other space I moved the antique sewing machine that belonged to Frankie's Grandmother and added a vintage quilt made by my great aunt. The button jar also belongs to my aunt.

Love the colors that the quilt adds to the room.

I have only opened the button jar once since I have had it.  I just pick it up and shake it around to look and enjoy the different items inside.  One day while shaking and looking I noticed a button shaped like a crown.  I decided to open up the jar and look at the button.  I have really enjoyed the button jar.  There is such an amazing variety and I like to image what kind of clothing they must have came off of.

HEARTS

Hi Everyone!  Hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and your New Year is off to a "Charming" start.  I spent my New Year's Eve quietly at home with my Mr. Prince Charming and my granddaughter, Rachel.  I had time to reflect on 2012 and setting new goals for Shell's Vintage Charm. It has been a wonderful year and full of learning experiences and I can't wait to implement and work toward the goals and all of the challenges in 2013.    Thank you all for you support and encouragement along the way.  I couldn't have made it without you!

Now for the fun stuff!  I have been making hearts and thought I would share.

Bessie's Heart

This is one of my favorite vintage pictures and I find myself using it all the time. The picture is my Great Grandmother, Bessie known to everyone in the family as Granny Tilton. I love the wistful look in her eyes and wonder what she was thinking at the time this picture was taken.   She was my Grandpa's mother and I have heard many stories about her.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  Until next time.......

Stay "Charmed".
