Welcome to the adventures of Sweet Caroline where in the words of Neil Diamond "good times never seem so good..."

July 5th started out for me, as any normal day for an old vintage camper trailer that is in real need of some TLC, but it seems to have been my lucky day. My new friend, Shelley, read about me and saw pictures of me on Facebook and decided to come for a visit to see if she could add some new "charm" for her business, Shell's Vintage Charm. I could tell by the look on her face that she was thinking that this ole gal just might be a little too far gone and no hope. So I put on my best face and worked a little charm of my own on her. (Shhh....she never knew what hit her). Her husband, Frankie, aka Prince Charming was a little harder to charm. He seemed to have more doubts and was trying his best to discourage my new friend. But with a little persuasion and charm from both of us, he was soon won over. They sealed the deal and thus my dreams and adventures of becoming a Glamper is becoming a reality. Good times never seem so good!

oH HapPy DaY!!!
I am so excited! I overheard that Prince Charming was coming to pick me up today and bring me to my new home. I am so anxious for my new makeover, to begin. Wonder what plans, Shelley has for me? I am all packed and ready to go, my spare tire is laying near and the wonderful family that I have been staying with has packed my old cushions inside. I will miss them as Cheryl had some pretty neat plans for me, herself.
My Prince Charming has arrived. I am heading out on my first adventure to being a Glamper, I can hardly contain myself. (Literarily, as parts of me are missing) I wonder if I will get to be a sparkling Princess? I know that I will have enough "Charm" to qualify once, I am made over. I will be a brand new version of myself.
Home Sweet Camper! I aM hOmE!!! I have been parked under a lovely shade tree, on top of a hill beside their house. I am close enough that Shelley will be able to visit with me often.

Some demolition began today. My Prince Charming came home from work today and started looking at the back corner that has him the most concerned. He was shaking his head and doing a little mumbling under his breath, but Shelley assures me that I am going to be fabulous, just you wait and see. Good times have never seem so good.

Oh Glory! It came a pretty hard rain shower tonight. My Prince Charming came out with his flashlight to inspect for leaks and so far so good. He says that is good news!!! Good times have never seem so good.

Happy New Year! It is going to be a great year for me!!! My Prince Charming is finally ready to begin work on my restoration and makeover again. We all had a little sit back, due to my Prince Charming, having to have more surgeries on his hand, but I heard them talking the other day and they are ready to begin again. Shelley has finally gotten all the paper work and can now go and get my the title. I will now officially belong to the Prince family and be a part of Shell's Vintage Charm. SoOoOoo ExCiTeD!!!! I already have my debut all scheduled for my Very First Show, so be sure to stay tuned. It is going to be AwEsOmE!!!! Good times have never seem so good.

The weather has been so nice the last few days, with warmer temperatures and lots of sunshine. ExCiTeMeNt is in the air!!!! Prince Charming was able to start back on my renovations today. I am still looking pretty rough around the edges but soon I will be more than just an old vintage camper, I will be a beautiful Glamper. I can almost hear the wheels turning now as I am traveling to the shows with Shelley.
Prince Charming removed the tin on one side and started replacing some board that were rotten. I will share some of my pictures with you today, but remember I still have a LoOoOoOnG WaY to Go!!! Good times have never seem so good.
I get my insulation and my tin, back on this weekend! Brrrr... I must say it has been a little bit cold waiting on this process to begin. Prince Charming ran out of weekend. But my tin is back on and next weekend, I get my windows back in. Good times have never seem so good.

HaPpY VaLeNtInE's DaY!!!!! Since it's Valentine's Day and all that stuff... I will let you in on a little secret. Shhhh..... don't tell anyone, but.... I've got my eyes on that Sexy , '68, Blue Ford truck that is parked nearby, they call him Ole Blue. We are the perfect match for each other, after all. With us both being vintage and 68 models. I know he keeps looking my way. I think he realizes that I am going to be pretty special, when I am all finished with my makeover. Anyway, a girl should never kiss and tell, so I will get on with my renovation for today.
I am getting a little bit concerned because, Prince Charming has been mumbling under his breath again about how much work it is going to take to get me finished in time for my big deput in April. Shelley tells me not to worry that he is just being a little bit grumpy. That it will all work out just fine! I am going to keep my fingers crossed that it all works out like it should.
They left early this morning to go get some putty strip stuff to put around my windows and seams. Prince Charming came home and got right to working on my seam and windows. I am so HaPpY!!!! I am completely put back together!!!! Still looking a little ruff around the edges but soon it is going to be AwESoMe! Good times have never seem so good.

The weather is suppose to get nasty again this afternoon. But it is so nice to be all snug and dry again. I am such a HaPpY GiRl!!! Work has started on the inside now. Oh My!!!! I can't tell you how very, VeRy, very ExCiTeD that I am and Shelley, too!!!
Shelley worked on striping some of the paneling off my cabinet doors, yesterday.
Shelley and Prince Charming came out today and measured me for my curtains and cushions. I heard Shelley say that they are running out of time and going to have to step up the game plan if they get me finished in time for my grand debut. While sitting there discussing ideas and the next step, Shelley changed her mind about what she wants to do on my ceiling. She is still going to use ceiling tile, she is just going to use what she has in her "stash" she uses on her projects. She says that it's okay for us girls to change our mind if we want to and that we might do it lots more before I am finished. Good times have never seem so good.

Shelley painted the salvaged vintage ceiling tile that is going to be used on my ceiling today. It turned out pretty AwESOmE, looks just right for me. Shelley said we could share a sneak peek with you. Good times have never seem so good.
