Lighted Glass Block Snowman

Hi Everyone,

Remember all the glass blocks that were scattered all over my dining room table?  Well here is one of the finished products.  A snowman  or should say snowperson, to be politically correct since she is all decked out in pink.  She turned out really cute!!! She is three glass blocks tall making her around 24 inches and that is not including to the top of her hat.  Glass blocks are also heavy!!!

Haven't offered this up for sale, as of yet, because I am not really sure about how to go about shipping her.  I am thinking of participating in a local craft show and will sell some locally.  I know it is possible to ship it, but just not really that shipping savvy.  If anyone has suggestions and shipping tips, I would love to hear them.

Yarn Yorkies

I added the Yorkies to my Etsy shop late last night.  They would be perfect embellishments for your scrapbook pages or cards. The bigger one is approximately 4 x 4 inches.  The three smaller ones are approximately 2 x 2 inches.  They are made out of yarn and mulberry paper.  The pattern is from Painting on Jars.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Hi Everyone,
You can always tell that Christmas is just around the corner when my house is filled with glass blocks. This year is no exception my dining room table is now loaded down with blocks. My wonderful husband drilled all the holes for me this weekend.

Stay tuned to see what the glass blocks turn out to be.

Scarecrow

Hi Everyone,
I would like to introduce you to Mr. Scarecrow.  He is my latest item going in my Etsy shop, http://shellsvintagecharm.etsy.com .  Be sure to go on over and visit with him.  He is sure to light up your world with his happy, glowing face. He is made out of a glass block and is wearing his straw hat adorned with a sunflower and wearing his favorite bandanna.  My photography skills really do not do him justice, he is so much cuter in person.
Blessings,
Shelley
