Painting Ceiling Tile For Caroline

I actually got to do something fun for Caroline the Glamper today.  I actually painted the vintage ceiling tile for her ceiling.  It made me feel like I was finally getting to see progress in the real deal instead of just images in my head.  I am getting so excited but a little worried too, as time is ticking on her first show schedule.  Check out Caroline the Glamper's page, I heard from a little birdie that she has updated her page.

Our First Show of 2015

ExCiTeMeNt is brewing!!!!   It is getting so close to our first show of 2015.  Only 18 days away!!! Hope you are making plans to attend the  Junk Hippy Road Show at McAlester, OK on Saturday, February 21st at the Southeast Expo Center.

Hard to believe that January has already flown through and gone, but I am getting excited for show season to began. I think, I about have my show schedule booked and in place for 2015 (Of course, it is possible that I might add a few more along the way.) I only have one application out that I have not heard from at this time and it is in December, so hopefully, I will hear from it soon and can get it all set in stone.   I am trying to leave a few months of summer open this year for some family time and of course getting in lots of junking along the way.  Our show schedule is posted on the side bar so be sure to mark your calendars.

Going to be and exciting year, as we will be bringing Caroline, the Glamper, along with us at a few of these shows.   In fact, her big deput is scheduled in April at Junk Rodeo.  I can hardly wait to get her finished and ready to roll in all her Vintage Charm glory.

Stay Charmed!

Adding, Re-Arranging and Beautiful Weather

Hi!  How is your week going? It has been busy as usual , but we have been having some BeAuTiFuL , warm weather the last few days in Oklahoma.  Unfortunately, I have been stuck in the office the last two days (aka The Dungeon) and haven't enjoyed it as I would have liked.  Today, I had my lunch break at the park.  Of course the down side of that is that I didn't want to go back to the office, where there is not even a window to look out of.  This was my FrIdAy and I have the rest of the week to work on my "Charm."!!! HaPpY HaPpy DaNCe!
View during my lunch break.

Last Friday, January 24th was the last business day of Birds of a Feather, in Norman, Oklahoma, where I was a vendor.  So on Saturday my Prince Charming and I headed out early to load up my displays and remaining inventory.  It was a bittersweet day, but I am planning to work on building up inventory for shows, while concentrating on my remaining vendor booth location at Baker's Mercantile in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  With that being said, I spent Sunday afternoon working on my vendor space and adding inventory.  I am loving how it is coming along!

Happy New Year

Hi All!  I have been absent from the blog world for a while. Hope that you all had a Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year! As I have reflected back on 2014, I am truly amazed at the growth in Shell's Vintage Charm.  Our show calendar expanded, not only did we add more shows in our home state of Oklahoma, but we now travel to shows in both Texas and Arkansas.  We currently have products in three retail locations.  We have our own domain in which to shop and still have a Etsy shop available.

I am so excited as we begin the journey into 2015.  It is going to be an a great year and full of new adventures.  I want to thank each of you.  Without your encouragement, support and following us on our adventures we would not be where we are today.  We look forward to another full year of blessing and "charm" and hope that you will continue to follow along with us.

Sweet Caroline

I did a little "junkin" this weekend.  (ok... may a lot of junkin this weekend) I lucked into this sweet vintage camper trailer.  I can't wait to turn her into a Glamper and load her up with "Charm"!!!  Everyone that I have told in my family, but Donna, thinks that I have totally fell off my rocker, but I can see the beauty in her.  Grand adventures are ahead for Shell's Vintage Charm.

My awesome Prince Charming was not so easily won over by her beauty and "Charm."  I had to do a little persuasion.  He has come a looong way, in the last couple of years, since I began Vintage Charm, but he still sometimes has a hard time seeing what I see, sometimes.  I am sure that The Junk Gypsies do not get some of the looks I get when they ask their carpenter to make or fix things.  But all in all it is good and I now have my vintage camper trailer.

She has lovingly been named Sweet Caroline and vision of Glamping adventures are dancing in my head.  Now for the restoration process to begin.

She has her own page and I am sure she will be keeping you up to date on her progress, as she is excited to become a Sparkling Princess in the World of Glamping. You can visit her page here.

Stay Charmed,
Shelley

OH MY!

OH MY!!!  How time continues to get away from me! We have been busy here at Vintage Charm and I haven't been good at all to keep up with my Blog page.  I hope that I still have some followers.  I did, however, take a much needed break this weekend.  I visited with Grandbabies and even went on a picnic and fishing with my wonderful Prince Charming.   Feeling so much more refreshed, relaxed, and have the creative juices flowing again and ready to jump back in with both feet and get some new products ready for Vintage Charm.  It is going to be a busy summer, we are adding more shows to our schedule and are now venturing into Texas for some, as well.  Thank you for continuing to following me along the way.  I am sharing some pictures from my weekend.

Stay Charmed!
