Vintage Girl Mixed Media Collage

Hi Everyone,
Hope your week has gotten off to a wonderful start! Today, I made a mixed media collage, using an image that I purchased for Digital Things.  Love the vintage girl enjoying her Coca Cola.  It is on an 8 x 8 inch canvas that has been painted and layered with lots of lace, torn paper, tattered muslin, and tea bag roses.  I will be listing this on My Etsy Shop.

Burlap Rose Placemats

Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!  I have been playing with my burlap and making roses out of some of my scraps.  Easy and lots of fun love how the edges fray and give it a shabby look.  I made a set of 4 of them and they measure 12 x 18 inches. 

Bunny Block

Hi Everyone!
I hope that you all had a great day.  We woke up to snow this morning, but I have been dreaming of spring.  I thought I would share my Bunny Block with you.  I have had his little image in my mind for a while now and finally found the time to make him.  He is wearing a shabby top hat all decked out for Easter.

Vintage Baby Shoe with Tear Bear

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share my newest repurposed Vintage Baby Shoe with you.  It combines two of my favorite things, vintage baby shoes and tear bears.  I love the little bear peeking out of the roses.  The bear can be removed or placed in other spots as needed.  This shoe is loaded with roses that are tipped in pink.  Lots of lace, pearls and crumpled ribbon.  I have added two charms that can easily be removed with a pearl pin that to add your own picture.

Bustle TuTu Onesie

Longsleeve Bustle TuTu with lots of pink tulle.   Turned out really cute, it is all business in the front and party in the back.  I also made a matching pair of leg warmers.

Primitive Rooster

Hi Everyone,

Hope that you are having a great week.  I made a Primitive Grungy Rooster that I would like to share with you.  The pattern is designed by Tennessee Ridge Primitives by Becky Erickson.  It was a really fun project.  Love the crackle paint oh him.  I am always crackling paint on my scrapbook pages, but never dreamed of crackling the paint on fabric projects.  Watch out world, I may be crackling everything now!!!  I will be placing him on my Esty Shop.
